National Quilting Day
Did you know that not only is March 17, 2012 St. Patrick’s Day, but it’s also National Quilting Day? In June 1991, the National Quilting Association passed a resolution at their annual quilt show in Lincoln, Nebraska designating the third Saturday in March as National Quilting Day, a day to appreciate and recognize quilters and their craft (click here to learn more: National Quilting Day history). So grab some green beer, put on The Quiet Man, and snuggle under your favorite quilt!
